Jupiter

I don't want to waste time
On who I think I could be,
So I sought out Jupiter,
Something bigger than me.
I don't want to stay here,
If it means I can't leave,
So I'll ask dear Jupiter
To make you forget me.
When you're staring at the night sky,
Your gaze might meet mine.
We can wish upon each other;
It's nice to have a lifeline.
I don't wanna shrink away,
Be lost in a sigh.
Not when there are greater things
Taking shape in the sky.
I can only stay awhile,
I know what's waiting for me,
Bowing at Jupiter's feet,
That's where I'll be.
I couldn't waste time,
On who I might be,
Then I found dear Jupiter,
Something bigger than myself.
